extreme south of S\u00e3o Paulo, in the Parelheiros district, within a complex social context of poverty and lack of prospects, facing numerous challenges: abnormal population growth with a predominance of children, the second-largest municipal district in terms of land area with the lowest Human Development Index (HDI), high rates of femicide, domestic violence, and adolescent pregnancy, among others.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-345ed409 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" socio-educational and community support structures in the region. It currently serves the children of the first kids welcomed into the institution through a Waldorf Kindergarten (for children aged 3 to 7) and an after-school program (for children aged 8 to 13). Most of the staff members are residents of the community who have developed their professional careers within the institution. The team\u2019s efforts aim to provide children with the opportunity to experience something different from the reality of poverty and neglect they face daily.
