For all the socio-environmental issues affecting our current Western society, there exists a worldview and way of interacting with others (other forms of life or nature) that objectifies them, distancing us from our true capacity for understanding and living participation in the world. Few references manage to lead to real transformation and point to possible paths beyond critiques of the prevailing model. Moreover, many seminal works for such an endeavor are not available in Portuguese, increasing the difficulty of accessing the knowledge necessary for our times, such as “Thinking Like a Plant” by Craig Holdrege, founder of the Nature Institute.
